If you need to hit reset in your body, turmeric, pineapple and ginger are three of the biggest healers for our guts – all are big healing agents for our body, and when combined into a healthy smoothie they do the trick of starting to heal an inflamed gut! I love coconut water with this smoothie because it makes it a little sweeter!
- 2 cups kale, spinach or any dark leafy green.
- 2 cups water or coconut water
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup frozen pineapple
- 1 scoop vegan plain protein powder.
- 1 knob ginger, finely minced
- 1/2 cup chopped parsley
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp tumeric with a pinch of black pepper (brings out to the tumeric healing properties.
Place the greens and fruit in bottom, along with seeds, top with powder and then milk. Blend low to high in high speed blender and then serve.
