There is nothing that a green smoothie can’t fix. If you have found yourself going down a rabbit hole of eating – having too much sugar or heavy carbs – mix up a batch of this green smoothie and all will be right in the world. It is FULL of fibre from four different kinds of greens, as well as the anti-inflammatory benefits of both pineapple and turmeric to help heal your gut.
Smoothie Ingredients

- 1 cup of chopped spinach
- 1 cup romaine lettuce
- 1/2 cup kale
- 1/2 cup napa cabbage or other green (arugula)
- ½ frozen banana
- 1 lime – zested and juiced
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple (highly anti-inflammatory)
- 1 cup coconut water
- 2 cups purified water
- 1 tbsp collagen powder
- 1 tsp tumeric
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- Fresh mint, cilantro and parsley (2-4 chopped)
- 3-4 ice cubes.
Instructions (makes three servings)
Place the veggies and fruit at the bottom of the Vitamix and top with liquids, seeds and flavoring. Blend well, low to high, for 1 minute. Pour into a large glass, as well as two mason jars for sipping as a snack mid-morning and later in the afternoon. This smoothie will provide you with nearly half of your required fruits and veggies for the day!
