Asian Turkey Burgers

I make these at least once a week and often double up the recipe, sometimes subbing in other greens. Smaller patties can be made up as well for snacks!


  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 cups finely chopped spinach
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 knob ginger, finely grated
  • 2 tsp tamari
  • 1/2 tsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp Chinese five spice


Mix all the patty ingredients together in a bowl by hand, and shape into patties. Pan-fry in a cast iron pan for approximately 4 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches at least 165 F / 74 C.
