Asian Turkey Burgers

I make these at least once a week and often double up the recipe, sometimes subbing in other greens. Smaller patties can be made up as well for snacks! Once you try them once, you will find yourself making  them all the time because you will love them, your kids will love them and everyone in your life will ask you to bring them. I also take this recipe and make them into balls and have them on Napa cabbage and shredded carrots with my Ridiculously Delicious Salad Dressing

To double the ingredients, just….you know….double the ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey (
  • 2 cups finely chopped spinach
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 knob ginger, finely grated
  • 2 tsp tamari
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp Chinese five spice

Instructions

Mix all the patty ingredients together in a bowl by hand, and shape into patties. With the spinach, you can super finely chop in a food processor but that just makes more mess to clean up. I chop up the spinach finely by hand!  Pan-fry in a cast iron pan for approximately 5-6 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches at least 165 F / 74 C.
