At 3 pm, I become hangry.
Can anyone relate?
When I am in the middle of a busy workday, the 3pm slump always hits me hard. Like, screen-door- on-a-hot-summer-day-gotta-run-outside-and-play-hard.
This green juice is perfect for at least three afternoon mid-morning or mid-afternoon serving. If you work from home, it is great for inviting a colleague around and serving something healthy for your meetings! Get into the habit of havingmore hydrating green juices that don’t need a juicer!
- 2 cups kale
- 1 cup spinach
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
- 1/2 cup frozen mango
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 2 cups coconut water
- 3 cups of water
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 tbsp ginger
- 1 tsp turrmeric with a pinch of black pepper
No secret: place the greens in the bottom of a high speed blender and add frozen fruit, hemp seeds, ginger and turmeric with a little black pepper to activate the healing power of the turmeric. Add the liquid and blend low to high for 2 minutes
