Is there anything nicer than blueberries with almonds? I like to up the ante three ways: almond milk, almond butter and a little bit of almond extract!
Remember that almond butter is your healthy fat, and we know that fats help keep you full longer. In terms of almond milk, I know you should grind your own almonds and push them through a cheese cloth but WHO HAS TIME TO DO THAT???
Any almond milk is fine in my books. And if you don’t want to use almond milk, coconut water and plain water work well too.
FYI: If you want a beautiful blue smoothie, omit the spinach. Otherwise, embrace the beautiful, brown color and deliciousness of the Blueberry Triple Almond smoothie.
